Florian Lüchinger is for 14 days in Kenya with his children's project (
www.Maisha.ch) . He has asked us by phone, if he could come to us with his 20-Maisha children (orphans) for a check. Of course, it was natural for me. Florian has a Kenyan wife (Beatrice), has organized a bus and drove about 190 km from Nairobi to us in the Rhein-Valley Hospital. Our doctor and the nurses had already prepared everything. Caroline also was prepared by the laboratory. At 11 clock they reached the hospital. Some of the children had never driven in her life with a car. So much new, the excitement and made the long trip to her stomach and felt they had to pass. After a brief welcome, we went to the lab for blood for different tests such as AIDS, typhoid, Malaria remove etc.. Thereafter, each examined by Wanjala the doctor. Since Christmas is soon took over the Rhein-Valley Hospital, the cost of vaccinations and worming. Each was treated could finish, then get in the kitchen for lunch with a soda, our kitchen staff cooked specially for younger guests.
