Unfortunately, I've already read a long essay of a theologian in all this turned out to be (supposedly existing in the books) Poor. Cults, other religions, worship of the Heavenly Mother / Maria ... but this is Coelho apparently had a conversion experience and then by drug use (and certainly other things) turns in his life, does not seem to matter. I suppose many people and especially Christians, should be able to take the good and leave the rest simple (see above). On the subject of God and individualism, I will write a post at other times.
