Pilar (a woman ) lives her normal life. Is training (studying a judge) that they may not actually. She goes the more safety (safe), but gray road, her life seems mapped out. Also in the love she wants a safe way without injuries, and risk. You never really came out of her cow town, your little narrow world.
Then she meets her first love again, the boy (now a man) to have never ceased to love. She admires him, for he traveled the world and did things of which he had always dreamed of. Meanwhile, he joined the seminary and we learn that he a special gift - has received - the gift of healing. (Two very inspiring short prayer at the beginning of the book are integrated into the story)
Pilar embarks on a journey to the self, their feelings, back to their faith. The inner struggle (vs intellect. Heart) is described very well. It makes intellectual experiences that are presented very tangible and desire to make this even make (again).
filled with the Holy Spirit, praying in tongues, prophecy , singing together and praying - so that you forget everything around you ...
all do not know this, should not let the interference to the worship of the Virgin Mary / Mother of the great disturbing.
Paulo Coelho is probably one of my favorite authors. Most-read author in South America. Already "The Alchemist" (which I did a double-CD audio book - made super) I was very impressed. Thin book to read quickly, packaged good message in a great story. Very beautiful love story without lard.
Super Book - read unbdingt. Conclusion:
"Find your purpose, live your life to the fullest, do not be afraid to step venture onto the water - FOLLOW THE SIGNS"
